Terms of use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern the relationship between SIA "BELIVO", reg. no. 40203027334 ("RentMeAuto" or the "Platform"), and users of the Platform.

1. Description of the service

RentMeAuto is a P2P (peer-to-peer) car rental listings platform that connects car owners with prospective renters. The Platform is not a party to the rental transaction and is not an intermediary for rental payments.

2. Registration and account

To use the Platform's features, the user registers by providing truthful and current information. The user is responsible for keeping their account secure.

3. Listings

Owners confirm they have the right to list the given vehicle and that all information is accurate. RentMeAuto reserves the right to moderate and reject listings.

4. Rental transaction

The rental is entered into directly between owner and renter. RentMeAuto does not charge a commission on the rental. The parties agree on payment method, insurance, fuel and other terms themselves.

5. Subscription plans

Owners can choose the PRO or BUSINESS plan; without a plan one active listing is available. Prices and limits are described on the Pricing page. Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time from account settings.

6. Liability

RentMeAuto is not liable for the performance of the rental, vehicle condition, insurance coverage or any disputes between owner and renter. Each party is solely responsible for its own obligations.

7. Prohibited conduct

  • Providing false information in listings or profile.
  • Fraudulent behaviour, spam or automated scraping.
  • Impersonating another user.
  • Using the Platform for unlawful purposes.

8. Account suspension

RentMeAuto may suspend or terminate an account if a breach of these Terms is identified.

9. Amendments

RentMeAuto may amend the Terms by publishing a new version on the Platform. Material changes are notified by email.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes are resolved by the courts of Riga.
